1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply when you visit the JAS Tour & Travels website or request a taxi, travel or related service from JAS Tour & Travels (“JAS”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms and any additional conditions shown for that booking. If you do not agree, do not use the website or book through it.
Booking-specific details and any service-specific conditions form part of these terms. If a booking confirmation states a different condition for that booking, the confirmed condition will apply to the extent of the difference.
2. Our services and website
JAS arranges local, outstation, airport and business travel. Depending on the booking, a trip may be performed by JAS or by an independent driver or transport provider. A request is not confirmed until JAS has accepted it and sent you confirmation. Vehicle and driver details may be supplied before pickup.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the website and its content are provided for personal, lawful use. You may not copy or commercially exploit the website, remove ownership notices, interfere with its operation, scrape its content, or attempt unauthorized access. All rights in the website and JAS brand materials remain with their respective owners.
Third-party services, payment providers and external websites may have their own terms and privacy notices. JAS does not control external sites and is not responsible for their content or practices.
3. Bookings and customer conduct
Provide accurate contact information, pickup and destination details, travel dates, passenger count and other requested booking information. You are responsible for keeping your contact details available and for telling JAS promptly if any booking information changes. We may be unable to complete a booking if essential details are missing or incorrect.
You must be at least 18 to make a booking. A person under 18 travelling in a vehicle must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Use the service only for lawful travel, follow reasonable safety instructions, and treat the driver, vehicle and other passengers respectfully. Smoking and the use of alcohol or illegal drugs in a vehicle are not permitted.
Vehicle make, model, colour and registration may vary within the vehicle category confirmed for your booking unless a specific vehicle has been expressly confirmed in writing. Luggage and passenger capacity are subject to the vehicle’s safe operating limits. Check that the arriving driver and vehicle correspond to the details supplied before boarding, and contact JAS if they do not.
The itinerary, included distance or duration, stops, pickup and drop-off points, and other inclusions are those shown in your booking confirmation. Ask JAS to approve changes before the trip. Additional travel or services may affect the fare; we will communicate applicable charges before proceeding where practicable.
4. Messages, promotions and customer content
When you make a booking, JAS may contact you by call, text message, email or messaging service about the request, payment, driver, trip or support. Promotional messages will be sent only where permitted by applicable law and any required consent.
Promotional codes or offers may have their own eligibility, expiry and use conditions. They are not cash, cannot be transferred unless the offer says otherwise, and may be withdrawn where permitted if misused or issued in error.
If you send feedback, a review or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You allow JAS to use it to respond to you, improve or administer its services, and display it in connection with JAS where you have agreed to that display. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content.
5. Fares and payment
Your confirmed fare, payment timing and included services will be communicated during booking or in the booking confirmation. Applicable taxes and any separately payable tolls, parking, state charges, permits or other trip expenses will be identified in the quote or booking terms where applicable. Do not pay an unconfirmed additional amount without first checking it with JAS; keep receipts for expenses paid directly during a trip.
Payment may be collected by JAS or a payment provider on behalf of the relevant service provider. Payment-provider terms may also apply. A completed trip charge is not refundable except as set out in the booking conditions or our Cancellation and Refund Policy, or where required by law.
Any waiting, itinerary-change, extra-distance, damage or cleaning charge must be based on the terms disclosed for the booking and applicable law. If a vehicle or property is reported damaged or requires cleaning beyond ordinary use, JAS may review the report and supporting information before seeking a reasonable charge.
6. Changes, cancellations and service disruptions
Cancellation requests should be made using the JAS contact details on this website as early as possible. The cancellation process, any applicable charge and refund eligibility are described in the booking confirmation and our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Travel can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, public restrictions, vehicle issues and other circumstances outside a party’s reasonable control. JAS will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes and discuss an available alternative. Any refund or credit will be handled under the confirmed booking terms and applicable law.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
We take reasonable steps to arrange the services described, but availability, timing and travel conditions can change. Information on the website is general; the accepted booking confirmation is the reference for your trip. To the extent permitted by law, JAS is not responsible for indirect losses caused by events outside its reasonable control or by a third-party service provider, but this does not remove any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law. You remain responsible for loss or damage caused by your unlawful acts or material breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Privacy, changes and general terms
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this website. The version in force when a booking is accepted applies to that booking, except where an update is required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by a court or other forum with jurisdiction under applicable law.
